Kyrie Irving will make his season debut with the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday’s road game vs the Indiana Pacers.

This will be the first appearance for Irving this season and he will be in Brooklyn’s starting lineup. James Harden, Kevin Durant, Nic Claxton and David Duke Jr will also start for the Nets.

Kyrie Irving missed the first 35 games of the season, due to his vaccination status. The 2016 NBA champion remains unvaccinated and he was ineligible to play. However, Brooklyn decided to bring him back as a part-time player. He will be able to practice at Nets facility and play in road games. Yet, he will be out for home games as well as for games in San Francisco and Toronto.

The season debut of Kyrie Irving marks the first time since June 5, 2021 that the Big-3 of the Nets will play together for Brooklyn, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. The Nets (23-12) will seek to snap a three-game losing streak.
