For the first time in his professional career, Malik Monk is playing alongside a superstar, like LeBron James. The two players seem to co-exist just fine on the court.
According to the 23-year-old shooting guard, the chemistry between him and the two-time NBA champion is natural. “It’s kind of natural, I play basketball pretty good, man on and off the ball,” Monk said.
“I’ve been doing that my whole life, man and I’ve been studying Bron forever, man. It’s him, he’s phenomenal with the basketball, without the basketball, with his eyes closed, with his eyes open.
“It’s just me watching film and knowing that he’s willing to pass the ball if you get into open spots. I’ve just been able to find open spots a little bit more since I’ve been getting a little bit more minutes now. So yes sir it’s supernatural.
