NBA teams continue signing players to 10-day hardship exceptions after losing players due to health and safety protocols. According to Mike Singer of Denver Post, the Miami Heat intend to sign Nik Stauskas from the Grand Rapids Gold of the G League.

The 28-year-old Canadian guard last played in the NBA during the 2018-2019 season which he split between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Stauskas joined a EuroLeague side Baskonia the following year.
