Maccabi Tel-Aviv didn’t find a way to snap its losing streak, following the 82-76 road win over Monaco on Wednesday night.

In a hard-fought battle at Salle Gaston Medecin, the visitors came back from a nine-point deficit (62-53), thanks to a 5-13 run (67-66).

Yet, the hosts used a 6-0 run of their own to regain control (73-66). Scottie Wilbekin (game-high 31 points) attempted to turn things around (76-72). However, he missed a crucial shot and let Monaco seal the deal and claim a crucial home win.

Both teams have identical records (7-11), while Maccabi Tel-Aviv now is on an eight-game losing streak. This was the only game that took place on Wednesday, as the EuroLeague suspended three games amid another Covid-19 outbreak.
