This past offseason, three-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala returned to the team with which he won those titles – the Golden State Warriors.

The 37-year-old veteran forward has a reputation as one of the best defenders in the league. Arguably his biggest task defensively was guarding LeBron James during the four years that the Warriors faced the Cavaliers in the Finals.

Recently, Iguodala was a guest on his teammate Draymond Green’s show. One of the topics the two players discussed was an advice that Iggy gave to Andrew Wiggins on guarding James.

Via Yahoo Sports:

“I gave him some pointers. Like, it’s really not about stopping him because you can’t. It’s about beating him to the spot when he gets there. That starts when [Stephen Curry] shoots. So as soon as Steph shot the ball, I would be looking for LeBron like, ‘All right. Where is he at? At what point attack will he be taking the ball out of bounds?’ That’s the first thing that went on my mind.”
