Lineup notes from players on the Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz, and Miami Heat.

  • Orlando Magic center Robin Lopez & Houston Rockets small forward David Nwaba are seeing a drop in minutes after having solid seasons last year. Lopez put up 9.0 PPG/3.8 RPG/63.3% FG in 19.1 MPG for the Washington Wizards, but now plays 15.1 MPG with plenty of DNP’s on a young Magic team. As for Nwaba, he’s gone from averaging 22.6 MPG/9.2 PPG/1.0 SPG to 11.7 MPG/4.1 PPG/0.7 SPG with the youthful Rockets.
  • Utah Jazz third year players Eric Paschall & Miye Oni have also seen a drop in minutes this season. Paschall made 2019-20 NBA All-Rookie First Team with the Golden State Warriors and Oni took in quality experience over the summer for Nigeria at the Tokyo Olympics. However, being on a deep Jazz team has hurt their chances of showing what they can do.
  • Miami Heat combo guard Gabe Vincent has found a very nice rhythm in his last five games, averaging 14.2 PPG/3.0 APG/1.2 SPG on shooting numbers of 51.0% FG/50.0% 3-PT/100.0% FT. Vincent continues to improve since going undrafted back in 2018, providing efficient bench minutes for a Heat squad currently without All-Stars Jimmy Butler & Bam Adebayo.
