Lakers newcomer Malik Monk once again had a big game coming off the bench. The 23-year-old shooting guard scored 20 points in 29 minutes of play, making 4/8 three-pointers.

After the game, he was asked by Mike Trudell on how he was able to fit in Lakers offense while playing alongside the three superstars LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.

“Just get easy baskets, cuts in the middle, back cut screens, screen on Bron, step outs, things like that to get easy buckets,” Monk said.

“You never know how I’m going to go. I might have a nigh like tonight or I might have six points. You never know how it’s going to go, but I just got to try to find easy buckets.”

This season, Monk is averaging 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Lakers.
