Kenny Atkinson and Mike Brown have emerged as candidates for the head coaching position of the Sacramento Kings.

After parting ways with Luke Walton, the Kings are in search for a new head coach. Alvin Gentry has become an interim coach, yet the franchise is in search for a new coach that will take over the team.

According to Marc Stein of The Stein Line, the Kings will consider the two veteran coaches for the head coaching job in case they don’t retain Gentry.

Kenny Atkinson has worked as an assistant coach over the past two seasons. Last year, he worked for the Clippers, while he joined the Warriors in the offseason. Similarly, Mike Brown has been an assistant with the Warriors since 2016.
