Basketball Hall of Famer Mitch Richmond had quite the battles in the 1990’s vs. all-time great shooting guards like Michael Jordan, Clyde Drexler, and Reggie Miller.

Richmond mentioned an interesting story about Miller’s uncut nails when looking back on guarding his toughest opponents with Terrell Owens and Matthew Hatchette.

(Via Getcha Popcorn Ready with T.O. & Hatch):

“Reggie would never ever cut his nails. So you play and after the game you’re scratched all up, Reggie got you all scratched up. I remember I was so freaking angry and could remember saying, ‘I’m not going to cut my nails until I see him again. I ain’t cutting mine. I’m just going to scratch him just like he scratched me.’ Reggie was like that, always got his hands on you and had them nails.”
