It was about five years ago when the Cleveland Cavaliers made the unthinkable feat — writing their names in the game’s history books through a one in a million opportunity and a daunting challenge.

They outlasted the greatest regular season team in the Golden State Warriors in seven classic games, and the icing at the top of the achievement is the action they pulled to do it — climbing up against 3-1 upperhand to destroy the city’s 52-year title drought in professional sports.

While this one is an absolute fairy tale ending for superstar LeBron James and the Cavs, the present and future remain the most important things.

But perhaps, since the majority of the iconic roster are enjoying their post-retirement life or having a new journey with other teams and field of interest, there’s this enticing idea that should remind them of the golden moment of the past.

A reunion.

Emmanuel Acho, a former NFL player, aired a tweet, suggesting that James, JR Smith, Iman Shumpert and Richard Jefferson to unite and have a toast on the indelible run that they had

As such, James responded via Instagram story, saying that he is “All in” for a possible meeting while mentioning his other former Cavaliers teammates including Channing Frye.

Who knows what will unfold in the next several months or years, but it shall be wonderful to see this Cavaliers team to enjoy and have their very own time together in celebrating the historical achievement.

Indeed, it remains as one of the best things to happen in NBA history — something more than worthy enough to tell our kids and grandchildren in the future.
