Boston Celtics got one back against the Cleveland Cavaliers as they downed their opponents on Tuesday night. Some critical late plays from Al Horford and Dennis Schroder were instrumental in Boston’s win.

The chemistry of both veteran players was on full display as the Celtics closed out a pesky Cavs in their second meeting of the season, after an 89-91 loss on Saturday.

“I think it’s good to have, as a team, we need to have different options,” Horford said in the press conference after the game.

“You can be predictable in one thing,” he added. “I feel like with this group, we have that ability, whether it’s Marcus (Smart) playing in the pick and roll, whether it’s Dennis (Schroder), or Jayson, or Jaylen, like, I feel like we have … many different guys that we can get in an action and we can do different things.”

Horford appeared in both halves during Monday’s contest, but was by far the most efficient and also impactful at 17 points and nine rebounds.

The Celtics improved to 7-7 after their win over Cleveland. They will face the Hawks on Thursday hoping to continue the hot run of form, having three wins in their last four games.
