New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is getting closer to his much-awaited return, as he is slowly, but surely, engaging in team activities.
As detailed by NBA reporter Andrew Lopez, Williamson has been cleared to participate in contact drills, beginning with 1-on-1 scrimmages. He’ll be re-evaluated on Nov. 24 whether he can fully participate in team practices.
Williamson, who suffered a right foot fracture last offseason, hasn’t played yet for New Orleans this season, as he continues his rehabilitation.
The one-time All-star is yet to join the NOLA, who is currently having a downing 2-13 record, after a recent road trip loss to the Washington Wizards on Monday.
