Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James recent tweet in which he mocked Kyle Rittenhouse at his murder trial as he cried while on the witness stand.
“What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court,” the four-time NBA champion tweeted followed by three laughing emojis. LeBron’s tweet caused a response from Rittenhouse’s representatives, calling his behavior ‘abhorrent.’
The tweet was discussed on a Timcast IRL episode. The crew and their guest Daniel Turner condemned James for mocking Rittenhouse as the host.
They also wondered whether such tweets come from lack of intelligence or are intentional. “People like LeBron James don’t care about truth. He didn’t do a simple Google search, he didn’t take five seconds. He doesn’t care,” Tim Pool, an American citizen journalist, YouTuber, podcast host, and political commentator said.“He’s a bad guy,” he added.
