The Los Angeles Lakers survived a late overtime thriller vs the Charlotte Hornets (126-123).

The Lakers saw the Hornets come back and force an overtime, after a three-pointer by Miles Bridges (115-115).

In the extra period, the visitors attempted to tie the game again and force double overtime.

But, they missed the three-pointer at the buzzer and the hosts sealed the deal.

Anthony Davis led the winners with 32 points. Russell Westbrook posted a triple double, with 17 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists.

On the other hand, Terry Rozier had 29 points and LaMelo Ball went for 25 points, 15 boards and 11 assists.

The Lakers improved to 6-5 in the standings. Meanwhile, the Hornets lost their fifth straight and dropped to 5-7.
