Cedevita Olimpija point guard Jacob Pullen has played in many different countries so far, mostly in Europe, and has had teammates that made their mark in basketball world. Recently, he was asked who was the best player he has ever played with.
According to the 31-year-old American, it is Michael Beasley, who currently plays for Cangrejeros de Santurce in Puerto Rico. His last NBA team was the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2018-2019 season. Pullen and Beasley were teammates in college as they played for Kansas State Wildcats.
“Michael Beasley is probably the best player I’ve ever played with,” Pullen told Nikola Ignjatić of MeridianSportBH. “He can do everything, he can score, rebound, play every position, and use both hands equally. He is literally ambidextrous, he can even write and shoot with either hand, just an amazing talent.
“I know him since we were like 14 or 15, and when he decided to go to Kansas State, that was big for my decision to go there too. If we would have won more, I would possibly also go to the NBA after the first year like Michael, but I really wanted to stay at college, I had fun there and enjoyed it.”
