Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine has a small ligament tear in the thumb of his non-shooting hand (left), but intends to play through the injury, according to Shams Charania.

The injury is a matter of pain tolerance and LaVine wants to continue to play, as the Bulls are off to a 4-0 start, their best since the 1996-97 Bulls.

LaVine got the injury checked out after the game and it’s not expected to get worse.

So far this season, the 26-year-old is averaging 25.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game while shooting 50.0% from the field and 44.4% from three-point.
