Golden State Warriors’ rookie Jonathan Kuminga will return to the team’s activities, the team announced Saturday. Kuminga suffered a strained right patellar tendon on October 6 during preseason.

Kuminga will participate in full team practices, but he will miss the next three Warriors’ games. He will be re-evaluated next Friday, hoping to make a full recovery in the team’s activities.

The rookie forward is definitely a part of the franchise future, but it’s unclear if he can have a role in the Warriors’ rotation this season.

In the Warriors’ two preseason games he played, Kuminga has recorded eight points, four rebounds, and one assist in 17 minutes per contest.
