Sekou Doumbouya will soon become a free agent after the Brooklyn Nets agreed to trade him to the Houston Rockets alongside a second-round pick, per Shams Charania.

The Pistons shipped Doumbouya to Brooklyn as part of a DeAndre Jordan salary dump that netted Detroit four second-round picks earlier this offseason.

Doumbouya had 94 NBA games in his two seasons in the NBA as part of the rebuilding process in Detroit. He could make a meaningful impact, as he has career averages of 5.6 points and 2.8 rebounds, shooting a poor 38 percent from the field.

The young forward was the 15th overall pick and the youngest player in his draft class in 2019. Now, he became part of another trade in less than a month.

Doumbouya played in one preseason game for the Nets and scored 11 points in 12 minutes, going 3-of-3 from the field, 5-of-5 from the line with four rebounds.
