Golden State Warriors announced several additions and promotions within the franchise, with one of the most notable being the promotion of Mike Dunleavy Jr.

Dunleavy became the Warriors’ vice president of basketball operations. He worked as an assistant general manager in the organization last two years.

Dunleavy was selected by the Warriors with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. He spent the first four years of his NBA career in Golden State.

Following a 15-year NBA career, Dunleavy joined the Warriors’ front office in 2018 as a pro scout. During his career, the sharpshooter averaged 11.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 986 NBA games.

He also played for Indiana, Milwaukee, Chicago, Atlanta, and Cleveland, before he decides to retire during the 2016-2017 season.
