According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Detroit Pistons will waive big man DeAndre Jordan, allowing him to become a free agent. Jordan is giving back $4 million in a buyout of the remaining $20 million on his deal. The 33-year-old veteran is expected to sign a one-year, $2.6 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers after he clears waivers. A former All-Star center spent the last two seasons with the Brooklyn Nets, bouncing in and out of the starting lineup during his tenure. Over 113 games – 49 of those in the starting lineup – Jordan has averaged 7.9 points and 8.7 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per game.
