According to Marc Stein of Substack, the Los Angeles Lakers are eyeing power forward JaKarr Sampson and point guard Tim Frazier as potential options to fill in the team’s remaining roster spots:

“Forward JaKarr Sampson, who spent the past two seasons in Indiana, and veteran guard Tim Frazier are two more free-agent names that have emerged as candidates for the two roster spots that the Lakers plan to fill.”

Sampson averaged 4.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in 29 games with the Indiana Pacers last season. Meanwhile, Frazier only appeared in five games for the Memphis Grizzlies last year after being signed in January and averaged 1.6 points along with 3.2 assists.
