Milwaukee Bucks acquired guard Grayson Allen from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for Sam Merril and two second-round picks, the team announced Saturday.
After concluding the signings of Rodney Hood, Semi Ojeleye and George Hill, Milwaukee adds more depth ahead of the 2021-22 NBA regular season.
Allen had a career year in his third season with the Grizzlies, averaging career highs in scoring (10.6), rebounding (3.2) and assists (2.2) while shooting 41.8% from the field, 39.1% from deep.
The 21st pick of the 2017 NBA Draft started his NBA career in Utah before playing the last two seasons in Memphis being a steady contributor off the bench.
Merill has appeared in 30 games for the 2021 NBA champions, averaging 3.0 points in 7.8 minutes per contest in his rookie season
