Lakers expected to have ‘strong interest’ in Avery Bradley

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Houston Rockets are not picking up combo guard Avery Bradley’s $5.9 million team option for next season, making him an unrestricted free agent. The Los Angeles Lakers, for whom Bradley played for a season, are expected to register interest in veteran guard this offseason. The 30-year-old has played 11 seasons for 7 teams, including the Celtics, Pistons, Heat, Grizzlies, and Clippers. He averaged 11.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 598 regular-season games.
