Janis Strelnieks will continue his career to Zalgiris Kaunas, the team announced Thursday. The veteran guard is the sixth player coming in for the Lithuanian powerhouse during the offseason.
Strelnieks spent the last two seasons of his career playing for EuroLeague powerhouse CSKA Moscow. He was part of the team that reached the EuroLeague Final Four, averaging 4.4 points and 1.6 assists per game.
Through 157 EuroLeague games over seven seasons, Strelnieks has averaged 8.1 points, 2.4 assists and 1.6 rebounds. He had also played for Olympiacos and Brose Bamberg.
