Chris Paul and the Phoenix Suns finished the season with four consecutive losses and the team succumbed to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games.

After the game and the series were over, CP3 talked with reporters, explaining how it felt to lose an NBA Finals and what’s next for him.

The Suns’ veteran superstar made it clear he will continue to play basketball, while he is eager to return to work for the next season.

“It will take a while to process this or what not, but it’s same mentality,” Paul said, per ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. “Get back to work. I ain’t retiring, if that’s what you’re asking. That’s out. So, back to work.

Right now, you’re just trying to figure out what you could have done more,” Paul continued. “It’s tough. Great group of guys, hell of a season, but this one is going to hurt for a while.”

Paul could become a free agent this offseason if he declines his $44M option for the last year of his contract. CP3 averaged 21.8 points, 8.2 assists, and 2.7 rebounds in six games in the 2021 Finals edition.
