FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Alex Abrines for a 5-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.
Abrines will become one of the players with the most games in club history thanks to the new deal after returning to Catalonia last year.
He has two Spanish league titles and two Spanish Cups under his belt as a member of the team. During the 2020-21 season, Abrines averaged 7.8 points and 2.8 rebounds in 19 minutes in the Spanish ACB and 6.1 points in 18 minutes per contest in EuroLeague.
This is the second contract extension this offseason, after Barca announcing a new deal with Sergi Martinez a couple of day ago.
