FC Barcelona reached to an agreement with Sergi Martinez, the team announced earlier today. Martinez penned a three-year deal with the Spanish giants.
The forward joined Barca when he was nine and rose through the ranks to Barca B. He made his senior team debut in 2019/20 season, but the past year he has become an important rotational piece for Sarunas Jasikevicius.
During the past season, Martinez played in 54 games including 28 in the ACB and 26 in the EuroLeague, winning the domestic league and cup double and reaching to the EuroLeague Final.
