The Philadelphia 76ers had another disappointing run in the playoffs. The number one seed in the East was eliminated in the second round by the Atlanta Hawks.

Joel Embiid, who led the Sixers in scoring with 31 points, issued a public apology to the team’s fans. He also admitted to playing with a torn meniscus, saying the city’s toughness helped him deal with the injury.

“PHILLY I LOVE YOU Sorry to disappoint you again Just know that I gave everything I had knowing the circumstances. If there’s one thing I’ve learned being here, it’s the TOUGHNESS this city has and that’s why I played with a torn meniscus. THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT ALL YEAR LONG!!” Cameroonian center tweeted.
