The Los Angeles Lakers were interested in acquiring Kyle Lowry this season and were prepared to trade Dennis Schroder to get him. In the end, the 35-year-old point guard remained with the Toronto Raptors.

According to Eric Koreen of The Athletic, the Lakers are expected to make another move on Lowry this coming offseason. The 2019 NBA champion is also linked with the Miami Heat.

This past season Lowry averaged 17.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game for the Raptors as they missed the playoffs.
