Stephen A Smith said LeBron James will end his illustrious career as a Laker. The TV analyst claimed LA will be the last team of the future Hall of Famer as he will turn 37 in December, and his contract expires after the 2022-23 season when he will be 38.

James’ current contract with the Lakers may not be his last as the veteran superstar has showed that he remains dominant as ever prior to a high ankle sprain during the 2020-21 campaign.

Frank Vogel’s team could not get past the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs. The Lakers’ disappointing season followed James, who missed 27 regular season games and never got back to 100%.

(LeBronwire):

“I believe so. I believe the only place he would ever go back to is Cleveland and I can’t see that happening. But I think this is it. Especially because Anthony Davis is here. LeBron has a lot to do with that. That’s the guy LeBron wanted.”
