CSKA Moscow big Johannes Voigtmann will remain in Russia for another two seasons, the team announced on Friday. Voigtmann signed a two-year extension with the ‘Army Team’.

The 28-year-old forward/center finished 2020-21 with 9.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 20.3 minutes in all competitions with CSKA.

On the other hand, the EuroLeague powerhouse parted ways with guard Janis Strelnieks. Strelnieks joined CSKA in the summer of 2019 averaging 6.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 70 games with the club.
