Monty Williams, the head coach of the Phoenix Suns, does not think that the officiating in the series against the Los Angeles Lakers is the same for both teams. Following the Game 2 loss, he expressed his concerns to the NBA, per Gerald Bourguet.
While understanding that the Suns are a young team that is earning playoff experience, he did think that the way the games were called should have been more even.
The Suns lost Game 3 in Los Angeles (95-109) and are now trailing in the series 1-2.
