Andre Drummond opened up about his early struggles with the Los Angeles Lakers and how he is getting better game after game.
Drummond said he is still ‘trying to get a rhythm’, but he is improving and finding chemistry with his teammates.
“I finally felt normal for once. Just kind of finding a rhythm while I’m out there, doing what I do best: Rebounding the ball, kicking out for threes and just finishing in the paint when I get the ball. I’m still trying to get a rhythm.
I wouldn’t call it frustration. It’s just more putting pressure on myself because I know what I’m capable of, and everybody knows what I’m capable of, and I just haven’t quite shown it yet. And it’s been difficult to process that,” Drummond said, via Christian Rivas of Silver Screen & Roll.
The Lakers will need Drummond to be at his very best on Wednesday night, when they host the Golden State Warriors in the play-in tournament.
