Talen Horton-Tucker made a big play for the Los Angeles Lakers, securing his team a win over the New York Knicks. The 20-year-old guard had the ball stolen from him by Derrick Rose within the final minute of overtime, but did not seem to be affected by it as he hit the game-winning three-pointer over Rose in the next possession.

Lakers veteran Jared Dudley liked what he saw from the sophomore. “Huge growth game for @Thortontucker tonight! Bad turnover late but, it didn’t discourage him! Came right back and nailed the game winner! He’s goin to be special!” he tweeted.

This season, Horton-Tucker is averaging 8.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 19.6 minutes per game for the reigning NBA champions.
