Russell Westbrook was one step away from making history as the Washington Wizards entered Monday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.
Despite the Wizards’ close-fought loss (124-125), Westbrook recorded his 182nd triple-double to break Oscar Robertson’s record and become the NBA all-time leader in that category.
