Andre Drummond had his best game with the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday against the Utah Jazz that missed Rudy Gobert, among other players, as he scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.

Gobert was back in the lineup on Monday when the two teams met again at Staples Center. This time, the Lakers lost and Drummond had 8 points and 8 rebounds. For his part, the French center had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz.

After the game, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked about the impact that Gobert had on Drummond’s performance. “Gobert is a difference maker, one of the best defensive players in the league.

“But I still thought Drum had some really good looks inside. I though he used his power effectively against him, just missed some shots that he normally makes. But Rudy Gobert is a difference maker for these guys.”
