Dennis Schroder took part in the game against the Boston Celtics on Thursday, even though he was dealing with a foot injury.

Schroder spent 28 minutes on the floor, but was ‘in a lot of pain’, according to Lakers head coach Frank Vogel.

“The foot was a problem. He really almost did not play, but really wanted to be in there. (He) was in a lot of pain, it took a while for it to loosen up.

But he definitely wanted to be in there, and credit to him for gutting it out and playing through pain,” Vogel told reporters, via Lakers Daily.

Schroder had eight points, eight assists and one rebound in the game, yet the Lakers lost to the Celtics 121-113.
