Laboral Kutxa Vitoria signed point guard Darius Adams for the remainder of season. Adams (1.89 meters, 25 years old) arrives from French club SLUC Nancy, which he led to second place in its Eurocup Regular Season group with some of the most impressive numbers in the competition. He was the Regular Season Round 4 MVP after going for 30 points on 5-of-8 three-point shooting plus 6 rebounds and 6 assists for a performance index rating of 36 in a victory over Baloncesto Seville. For the season he ranked seventh in average performance index rating (19.3), fifth in scoring (17.2 ppg.) and 11th in both assists (5.6 apg.) and steals (1.7 spg.). Adams was tied among qualified players for the lead in the free throw shooting at 94.74 %. He also ranked second in the French League in scoring (18.3 ppg.) through 14 games.

Adams previously played for Bremerhaven of Germany, where he led the league in scoring with 18.0 points per game last season. He has also suited up for Guaiaqueries de Margarita in Venezuela, Reales de La Vega in the Dominican Republic, Kryvbasbasket in Ukraine and Orleans in France. Adams’s contract is pending the passing of a medical exam.
