Junior point guard Davion Mitchell has declared for the NBA Draft after fueling the Baylor Bears’ sensational run to the NCAA Championship. Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, the 22-year-old has made himself available for the upcoming draft and plans to hire an agent.

The player averaged 14.1 points shooting 51.1 percent – 44.7 percent from three – for the 28-2 Baylor and was instrumental in their title-game win over the previously undefeated Gonzaga Bulldogs on Monday night.

He was pretty impressive in the final four having registered totals of 27 points and 16 assists in wins over Houston and Gonzaga in the last two games.
