Atlanta Hawks’ De’Andre Hunter underwent a non-surgical procedure earlier today and will return to activity later this week, the team announced.

The team didn’t specifically say what the procedure was on, but it was likely his right knee.

Hunter underwent meniscus surgery in February.

Since returning from injury, the 23-year-old only played two games on March 22 and March 24, but has missed the last six games after experiencing some swelling and soreness in his knee.

Head coach Nate McMillan said Hunter’s procedure will not keep him out for the rest of season and that he “absolutely” expects him to return this season.

In 20 games, Hunter is averaging 16.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game, while shooting 50.2 percent from the field.
