Memphis Grizzlies are expecting to have Jaren Jackson Jr. back by the end of April, per franchise’ VP Zach Kleiman. The third-year big has been out since August with a knee injury.
He underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee. Kleiman claimed that most players need eight months to fully recover, while for others it takes nine.
Jackson has not played since early August, when he was participating in the NBA season restart at Walt Dinsey World in Orlando, Florida.

“At this point, he is on track to return in April by the end of the month, and we can’t wait to have him out there,” Kleiman said. “But Jaren has made very significant strides, encouraged by the progress he’s made, and we just can’t wait to have him back on the court with us.”
Memphis is on course to fight for a playoff spot through the play-in tournament having the ninth best record in the Western Conference.
