Los Angeles Lakers are looking into ways to play better despite an injury-plagued roster. The Lakers are missing important pieces of their championship team including LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Kyle Kuzma explained what the Lakers have to do moving forward after their loss to the Pelicans Tuesday. That was the third consecutive loss for the Lakers since LeBron James was sidelined indefinitely.

(via ESPN):

“I think we just got to look at the drawing board, continue to trust each other, try to play for one another on both sides of the ball,” Kuzma said. “I think if we can do that, we give ourselves a chance every single night.

“That’s the challenge we’re up against. Just got to strap it up and go.” The Lakers haven’t figured out yet how to play without their two best players.

As a result, Frank Vogel’s team experienced two consecutive blowout losses to Phoenix and New Orleans. The LA franchise will have to rely on Kuzma, Schröder, and Harrell to remain afloat in the tough West until at least Davis’ return.
