Blake Griffin could be making his debut against the Washington Wizards on Sunday. The Brooklyn Nets upgraded his status to ‘probable’ in the injury list, per ESPN’s Malika Andrews.
Griffin has not played since suiting up Feb. 12 for the Detroit Pistons, who agreed to a buyout with the forward on March 5. The forward signed with the Nets on March 8.
The six-time All-Star averaged 12.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in 20 games for the Pistons this season. Brooklyn is sitting 0.5 games behind the Philadelphia 76ers for first in the East.
The Nets will host the Wizards on Sunday as they hope to return to their winning ways after losing to Orlando Magic Friday.
