Prior to the All-Star Break, the New York Knicks ruled out Derrick Rose due to the NBA’s health and safety protocols. According to HC Tom Thibodeau, Rose’s potential return timetable is still unclear.

(via Marc Berman of NY Post):

“To be honest I can’t answer that because I don’t know,’’ Thibodeau said when asked if he’ll rejoin the club during the trip. “I’m following what Dr. [Lisa] Callahan and what the league says. Once there’s clearance he’ll be available. When we get updated, we’ll update you guys.”

Rose has been great for the Knicks, since he joined the team in February via a trade that included Knicks’ guard Dennis Smith Jr. and a second-round pick.

In 10 games with the New York franchise, Rose is averaging 12.5 points, 4.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds per contest shooting 45.5-percent from deep.
