Portland Trail Blazers big Jusuf Nurkic is close to his return, after being sidelined for almost two months due to a wrist injury.

In response to a question about his recovery timeline, the Bosnian center revealed that he’s ‘almost there’ and he could return in ‘a week or two’.

Nurkic injured his wrist in the Blazers’ loss to the Indiana Pacers back on January 14th. He underwent a surgery to repair the issue a few days later.

The 7-foot center has played in just 12 games for Portland this season, averaging 9.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
