According to ESPN’s NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Houston Rockets have guaranteed the contract of DeMarcus Cousins for the remainder of the season, worth $2.3 million.
The 30-year-old missed nearly two seasons due to injuries, but he was able to recover and proved himself to be a worthy asset.
This season, Cousins is averaging 9.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 20.2 minutes per game. He had a season-high 28 points in a win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Boogie’s numbers are steadily increasing. The month of February is his best so far this season as he is averaging close to a double-double with 11.7 and 8.2 rebounds per game.
