The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is still one of the most dominant players in the NBA despite being 36 years old and playing his 18th season in the league.

Derek Fisher, who won five championships as a Laker, was asked what impresses him most in James at this point in his career.

“I think what’s most impressive is that he’s still truly in love with the process,” Fisher told Allie Clifton on Spectrum SportsNet. “There’s still a level of engagement in his eyes that he really wants to try and figure it out every night. Each night it’s a competition, it’s a chess match and he’s trying to figure out the right moves to make. He still intends to be the best player in the world every time he steps on the court. That’s impressive.

“I don’t think he has anything to prove to the rest of the world. What’s driving him seems to still be what he’s thought probably since he was kid. He loves the game which is he loves playing this game and as long as his body’s gonna allow him to do it, he’s gonna keep pushing it.”
