LeBron James is not in favor of an All-Star Game in March, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

James, who leads the All-Star voting, said having an All-Star Game with all Covid-19 restrictions is not a wise decision.

“I have zero energy and zero excitement about an All-Star game this season. I’ll be there physically but not mentally,” James said, via Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

James also noted he prefers to spend this time in order to rest, due to the shortened offseason (71 days).

The NBA is planning to have an All-Star Game on March 7 in Atlanta.
