Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart suffered a left calf strain in the team’s 95-96 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

In the fourth quarter, Smart came down after jumping for a rebound and grabbed his calf left in what was a non-contact injury.

He did not return to the game.

Here’s a look at the injury:

The 26-year-old will undergo an MRI on his left calf strain on Jan. 31, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

This season, Smart is averaging 13.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.8 steals per game.
