The Brooklyn Nets officially signed center Norvel Pelle. The terms of the deal were not revealed, per team’s policy. Pelle spent last season with the Philadelphia 76ers.

He originally signed a two-way contract with the Sixers, before the franchise converted his deal to a standard one last February.

The 27-year-old center averaged 2.4 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 9.7 minutes per game with the Philadelphia franchise. He also appeared in one playoff game for the Sixers in their first round playoff series against Boston.

Prior to his NBA career, Pelle played overseas in Italy, Lebanon and Taiwan and in the NBA G League with the Delaware Blue Coats.
